Although visiting for a funeral nearby, I was very happy during my stay at the Lodge. The unique touches to the rooms really made me feel at home. Paintings on the wall, the closet converted to a coffee bar with mini-refrigerator, rocking chair in the room, desk with an eclectic wooden chair, and the front desk man with his dog all made this stay more than I could've asked for!

The place is glorious. If headed up north Arizona, all fine here. The room was a perfect setting for folks wanting to understand Alpine. Would highly recommend getting up there. The drive from Phoenix is split in 4 spurts. Each providing different scenic views etc. I'd live there if I wasn't so unfortunately domesticated. This place and Alpine altogether is total coolness.

Each room has couple chairs and a table so you can sit on the front porch with beautiful mountain view. You can chat with neighbours in the evening or have coffee and watch hummingbirds in the morning
